I have an notes of a conversation with J.B. Miller that occurred soon after I joined AT&T (before my name was flagged for asking too many questions). He told me that when I switched to AT&T, Pacific Bell had no repair history for me, as if I were a completely new customer. It was as if they had erased it and wiped the slate clean, or buried it in their archives somewhere. Now why would that be?
